USES

Cattle, sheep, goat, pig:

Prevention and treatment of infectious diseases due to bacteria and  ther microorganisms sensitive to Oxytetracycline such as:

• Cattle, sheep, goat:

Respiratory diseases - Genito-urinary diseases - Foot diseases - Infectious kerato conjunctivitis in cattle.

• Pig:

Respiratory diseases - Genital tract diseases.

COMPOSITION

Oxytetracycline ..................................................20 000 000 I.U.

Excipient q.s.............................................................100 ml

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Intramuscular injection.

The usual dosage is 20 000 I.U/kg live bodyweight (as 1 ml of TENALINE 20% L.A. for 10 kg LBW) in 1 injection with a maximal volume per injection site of:

20 ml for cattle - 10 ml for pig - 5 ml for sheep and goat.

PRECAUTIONS

Some slight and transitory reactions may occur at the injection site. Thus, it is recommended to take care of the volume injected in the same site and to inject in two sites one far from the other when several sites are required. Use carefully in case of renal failure.

Keep out of reach of children.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat: 21 days.

Milk: 7 days (14 milkings).
