Integrated control

Ceva is a major player in animal trypanosomiasis control

Ceva teams research, develop and provide products and services to the populations through an “integrated control”approach.

Integrated control is the most effective approach, combining the control of the vector and the trypanosomose thanks to strategic use of trypanocides.

THE SANATIVE PAIR

VERIDIUM® and VERIBEN®when used together form what is known “the sanative pair”. Trypanosomes which may be resistant to one of the products of the pair are usually sensitive to the other.

The entire herd should be treated with VERIBEN®at the start of the trypanosomiasis risk period, then re-treated again with VERIDIUM® (15 days minimum later) to eliminate the persistent trypanosomes (resistant to diminazene) which are sensitive to isometamidium.
